intended for replacement of auxiliary power supply units of the BPSN-5U2M type,

BBE-5U2 and BBE-6U2.

The source meets the requirements of TU16-98 IDBM. 435251.008 TU and

intended for power supply of own needs and recharging of the accumulator battery on

subway cars.

The use of modern element base in the source allows:

– exclude maintenance of the power supply;

– exclude recoverable means of protection of power circuits of the source

food;

– improve the environmental situation on the metro by eliminating noise

when the power supply is running;

– to reduce weight and dimensions by 4.5 times;

– to improve the reliability and efficiency of the on-board power supply of cars.

The source is a static DC / DC converter with

automatic mode switching. High precision of regulation and maintenance

output parameters allows you to select an effective battery charging mode and

ensures their long service life.

The main differences between sources of the DIP-01 type from modern counterparts are –

sources such as BENTS 970 / 80-60, IPP-6 and BPN-115:

  1. DIP-01 is produced in four modifications:

– DIP-01 – designed for equipping subway cars of the 81-717 / 714 series with salon lamps of the LVV-01 type or others with an operating voltage of 75

B and replaces the auxiliary power supply unit of the BPSN-5U2M type;

– DIP-01K – designed for equipping subway cars of the 81-717 / 714 series and their modifications, 81-718 / 719, 81-720 / 721 and replaces the onboard

power supply type BBE-5U2 and BBE-6U2;

– DIP-01 KM – designed for equipping metro cars of the 81-740 / 741 series (light metro) with the ability to work without a bypass with

rechargeable battery;

– DIP-01 K-03 – designed for the equipment of subway cars of the type Em-508 RU1, Ezh-RU1 and their modifications.

  1. The sound level generated by DIP-01 (no more than 40 dB) is 20 dB less than the level

BENTS noise (no more than 60 dB).

  1. DIP-01, unlike BENTS, does not turn off when heated to 75  С, but

continues to operate with a 50% reduced current setting, which allows increasing

the viability of the car in real operating conditions.

  1. DIP-01 has no moving mechanical parts – a fan, unlike

BPN-115, which increases its operational reliability.

  1. DIP-01 can withstand input overvoltages up to 3 kV with duration up to 10

ms (see TU16-98 IDBM.435251.009 TU), which ensures its increased reliability

work when powered by traction networks with a predominance in the operation of the mobile

composition with rheostat-contactor control system.

  1. Design DIP-01 (with 2 cut-in control boards and quick-detachable

device cover) provides an average recovery time

in a depot without removing from the car about 15 minutes, of which (8 – 10) minutes. goes to

re-check of the repaired high voltage apparatus.

Analogues of DIP-01 in case of failures and subsequent repairs require, as a rule,

removal of the apparatus from the car, and, accordingly, have a recovery time

working capacity of the order of several hours.

  1. Installation on a DIP-01 car together with DRP-300/300 provides reliable

excitation of traction motors of the car in braking modes from low (20 km / h and less) speeds. In the case of using other sources of on-board power supply

guarantee joint work with DRP and excitation of traction motors at low

the speeds of the beginning of braking are difficult.
